West Mercia Energy are pleased to have become ‘’Founding Members’’ of the Public Sector Sustainability Association (PSSA).
The PSSA provides a professional association and network for all those working in the Public Sector who have a common interest in sustainability. The aim of the association is to bring together a wide group of people working across all areas of the Public Sector – to help educate, train, support and connect as we work towards a more sustainable future.

In becoming Founding Members of the PSSA, we are further demonstrating our commitment to supporting the public sector achieve their carbon ambitions over the coming years.

Our Business Development Manager, Gavin Owen commented, ‘’We are delighted to become founding members of the PSSA and are committed to helping our customers, and the wider public sector, achieve their ‘net-zero’ objectives and therefore support the wider UK target of becoming net-zero for carbon emissions by 2050.

We have already delivered several innovative renewable projects for our customers and offer a range of exciting renewable products. Following recent customer engagement, we are in the process of enhancing these offerings further with the support of our key framework provider, Total Gas & Power.

We are looking forward to sharing our products, services and knowledge and working with likeminded members of the PSSA as we all look to do our bit towards achieving carbon neutrality within the public sector’’.
