Introducing Jacob, Billing Assistant
We’re pleased to welcome Jacob to West Mercia Energy, who joined our Billing Team in January as a Billing Assistant.
Jacob’s primary role is to support the team in delivering WME’s unique bill validation service, a core part of WME’s fully managed provision. By carefully reviewing energy invoices and validating charges, Jacob will help continue to ensure that WME’s public sector customers only pay what is accurate and contractually correct, giving them confidence and transparency in their energy costs.
Our billing service plays a vital role in helping public sector organisations manage budgets, reduce unnecessary spend, and resolve queries efficiently. Jacob’s work will contribute directly to maintaining the high standards of accuracy and customer service that WME is known for, while strengthening the support we provide across our growing customer base.
As WME continues to expand its services to support organisations on their energy management and decarbonisation journeys, continuing to deliver expert bill validation remains a key priority. We’re delighted to have Jacob on board as part of that commitment.
About Jacob
Jacob joins us having studied master’s degrees in environmental management at Lancaster University and the University of San Francisco and brings extensive analytical and customer service expertise to WME’s billing team.
Outside of Work
Away from the office Jacob is a keen runner, having run a sub 4 minute mile and recently representing Great Britain at the World Cross Country Championships in Florida.
We’re excited to have Jacob as part of the team and look forward to the valuable contribution he will make to WME and our customers.
