On 10th May WME welcomed customers across the country to Shrewsbury as we hosted our first face to face customer conference since 2019.
WME customers representing Local Authorities, Blue Light Services, Town & District Councils and the NHS came together at Shrewsbury Tow Football Club for a day of inciteful content, networking, and good food.
The day focused on the changing energy landscape given the current market positions, with an undercurrent of sustainability and decarbonisation.
WME’s content was supported by a range of external speakers covering water, renewable generation, legislation, smart cities and much more.
WME’s Business Development Manager, Gavin Owen, commented, “It was fantastic to be back hosting our annual conference face-to-face and seeing our customers, new and old, come together for a day of thought-provoking content. The feedback on the day was overwhelmingly positive and we thank all customers for attending and reserve a special thanks to our external speaks who supported the days content”.
One delegate stated, “It has been a challenging few years for us all within the industry and networking has almost been non-existent. It was great to be out and about again having the chance to discuss our challenges with likeminded colleagues within other public sector organisations. The content was interesting, varied and thought provoking – Thanks WME”
We look forward to hosting again next year.
